Stolen Scooter Gilera Recovered
After previously watching his last scooter being stolen when two criminals lifted it into the back of a van, This client decided to invest in the Automatrics MTrack theft recovery service. Then On 13 May 2015 his replacement Gilera was also stolen overnight from a street side location.
But this time the outcome was completely different. The theft recovery tracking system was remotely alarmed and a radio signal finder was dispatched to Kentish Town London NW5. The radio signal finder detected the signal emanating from the back of a community center. Support partners NaVCIS (National Vehicle Crime Intelligence Service) were contacted to help arrange attendance of the Metropolitan Police.
The site was attended by the Metropolitan police being directed by the on site Automatrics radio finder to locate the stolen scooter parked close to the rear of the building. The barrel locking device had been removed from the Gilera scooter but other than that the scooter was undamaged.
