Stolen Motorcycle Yamaha R6 Recovered
On 27 March 2015 a customer reported his R6 stolen for a second time in less than 12 months. The Automatrics MTrack theft recovery tracking system was remotely alarmed and a radio signal finder was dispatched to Dagenham. The radio signal finder detected the signal emanating from a private garden. Support partners NaVCIS (National Vehicle Crime Intelligence Service) were contacted to help arrange attendance of the Metropolitan Police. Whilst the finder was waiting he witnessed a second (and later confirmed stolen) Yamaha R6 being wheeled through a gate of the target property. The Metropolitan Police arrived and requested access to check the property garden.
The tracking device radio signal was emanating from a garden shed. Radio signal finders, will where required, use hand-held radio direction receivers to pickup and then home-in on the Automatrics MTrack’s audibly silent secret RF radio finding frequency. Two undamaged Yamaha R6 motorcycles were discovered in the shed, part of a major motorcycle theft holding area which needed further investigation. NaVCIS were again contacted and liaised with the attending officers to arrange SOCA (Serious Organised Crime Agency) to attend the site. SOCA officers arrived shortly after and took complete details including DNA samples. The customer was then advised he could attend to collect his R6 from a street nearby whilst the Automatrics attending finder would be waiting for him.
Customer Feedback "I wanted to say MASSIVE THANK YOU for successfully recovering my bike for the second time this year. Please pass this onto Jackie, Mel who updated me instantly what was going on and especially Richard who found the bike and stayed there with the bike till the last minute I showed up to pick it up. Your team is simply amazing. As it was not the only bike nicked retrieval of my bike lead to recovery of the two others and perhaps prevention of further few. Automatrics MTrack is amazing in fighting organized vehicle theft and as I see the best available on the market in recovering stolen vehicles"
